AWSS Schedule of Points
Points are awarded as follows:
-
Only the highest achievement in each venue applies.
-
Points for titles in different venues at the same level can be added together.
-
Qualification for a versatility title requires a specific point value earned from a certain number of different venues/events. At all versatility levels, the highest pointed title must be from a working event (i.e. not conformation). A lower-valued achievement may be counted in lieu of a higher-valued achievement in order to meet this requirement.
Examples:
-
A dog with NA and NAJ gets 3 points
-
A dog with NA and OAJ gets 5 points
-
A dog with CD and NA gets 6 points
-
A dog with OTCh and HC gets 18 points
-
A dog with HTCh and WTCH gets 10 points.
Titles must be documented in one of the following ways:
-
Copy of original title certificate
-
Copy of report from the issuing organization
-
Link to the online record of achievement (this must be a PUBLIC URL, and NOT require log-in credentials)
In the event that a deceased dog has earned this award, application must be made to AWSS within 12 months of the death of the dog.
** NOTE: From March 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021, applications are open for posthumous awarding of Versatility titles for any eligible deceased dog, waiving the 12 month requirement.
